Ever on the look out for cool projects I want to highlight Heart's Melody a short independent film . Whilst it doesn't use voices, it does use music and animation together to tell a story. Illustrating a universal point with story telling, show but don't tell.
It took the creator six months to create, it's well worth the few minutes of your time.

If you haven‘t voice acted before or don’t intend to often there‘s no point spending a lot of moneyIf you’ve read the previous article in the series you’ll know the kind of projects you can get involved with. Now we’re going to talk about the kind of microphone you need to get started . The type of software you use, and the microphone you record make a massive difference to the way you sound.

Altered Vistas Curse of the Daleks

Altered vistas have just releases Curse of the Daleks , a 3D animated performance of a classic Dr Who play. Yours truly provides some voice work, and I am currently staring smugly at the DVD here. It's a really great idea, and nice to see this material performed again. As a voice actress it's also nice to have something physical in my hands!
