Speaking of COMI, I was installing it the other day and found out you can play it without the CD, just as long as you have all the necessary files - handy for me since I was technically borrowing the CD from my family home.

I just finished Half Life 2,
I just finished Half Life 2, I really enjoyed it. Especially the way all the story telling was done in game. I do actually normally enjoy cut scenes; but the way it's intergrated is supremly well done. Considering I am not a shooter person I am very happy I got through it.

Now for EP: 1 & 2 :). I really enjoy and actually prefer games which use real time storytelling rather than cinematics. It gives a whole lot more room for immersion into the storyline.
We'll have to try and play tf2 again haha

First playthrough I lost Mordin and Legion. Second everyone survived :D what about you?

First playthrough everyone
First playthrough everyone survived until after the final boss fight. Then when my Shepard checked in with the fire team collectors were standing on top of Mordin's corpse. He was the only one I lost. And because I dallied at the end, I lost most of the Normandy crew as a result.
Second playthrough I headed to the collector base as soon as my crew was captured. Saved everyone and none of my team died. That's my ultimate playthrough and the one I'm carrying over to Mass Effect 3.

I'll be withered away to Mass Effect 2 by the end of the week.
I'm playing LoZ: Link to the Past now - feels much shorter than the later games, though it's definitely more difficult.
