Hi Mindy Mouse

 

My name is Dean Thomson and I am currently developing a small indie adventure game based on Jonestown, The Peoples Temple and Jim Jones.  Most notably for being a notorious socialist and cult leader of the late 70s.  Anyway this game is to tell the story regarding those tragic events back in 1978 but telling it in our current time period via flash backs, etc.

 

Here are some links for you to view regarding what I am actually talking about.  In a nutshell Jim Jones convinced his 900 followers to commit genocide on themselves (suicide if you will).  This game is tell the story regarding the events leading up to it.  I am not glorifying the suicide at all.

The game is being released in episodic content and currently I am in need of voice over work, and there are two characters that need to have acting done over.  The first is a character called Denise Elridge who has been traumatized by the events that had proceeded back in 78 (mass suicide if you haven’t checked the links already) and she is unstable and well ultimately commits suicide.  She is actually based off the following politician who was involved in the event but is still alive (I changed her name in the game out of respect).

The other character that is available to do is the main character’s work colleague Monica.  She is a sarcastic woman who has a very dry sense of humour.  Overall just a very jaded grump women, also to note both characters have an American accent.  I leave it up to you how you want to work with that one.

 

Anyway, would you be interested in doing this and doing further lines down the track.  I can’t really pay as it’s a free game, but I will credit you and give you a pre-release before the official launch date.
